George Douglas Scott was born on 06 March 1864 in Fort Beaufort, Eastern Cape, South Africa.. He was one of 14 brothers and sisters. He married Esther Margaret Coleman and they had 9 children. He lived on a Farm called Lyndale near Barkly East. They had over 10 cats and dogs living with them. He died on 3 Novemebr 1914. He was my great grandfather.
